  30. In MS-DOS Kermit, no.  You can customize the answerback message
  31. only by appending text to it, but you can't replace it.  This is
  32. a deliberate security measure.

  34. Kermit 95 lets you set the answerback message to anything you like,
  35. but it makes you jump through some hoops to do it, since it does
  36. not want you to think it is a safe thing to do.  Should you take
  37. this route, of course, it is still not flow control.  In Windows 95
  38. and NT, etc, flow control is -- and must be -- provided by the
  39. device driver, and ENQ/ACK is not supported by the Windows drivers.
